Burbank Drive Seg 2
Project Overview:This project consisted of adding two additional traffic lanes, turn lanes and improvement to the intersections from a point 3000 west of the Bluebonnet Boulevard to the tie-in point approximately 750 south of Highland Road. The purpose of the project was to provide an improved east-west route to LSU and the Downtown areas, and relieve the congestion along Highland Road. Identified on the City-Parish Major Street Plan, the improved Burbank Drive ties into the north-south improvements along Bluebonnet Boulevard and Siegen Lane.
