Detailed Description:

This project will widen the current two lane roadway to provide two through lanes in each direction with sidewalks and a raised median from Boulevard DeProvince to 1,135' west of Millerville Road. It will require new bridge crossings at Jones Creek and Lively Bayou. This project will extend LA DOTD's Old Hammond Highway improvements from Airline Highway to Boulevard DeProvince. When combined with other projects in the plan, it will provide an improved east-west connection extending from Airline Highway to O'Neal Lane.
