Detailed Description:

This project will widen the current two lane roadway to provide two through lanes in each direction and a raised median from 1,135' east of Millerville Road to 850' west of O'Neal Lane. This project will extend LA DOTD's Old Hammond Highway improvements currently under construction from Airline Highway to Boulevard DeProvince and the proposed Old Hammond Highway improvements from Boulevard DeProvince to Millerville Road. When combined with other projects in the plan, it will provide an improved east-west connection extending from Airline Highway to O'Neal Lane.
